1 Purpose
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions under which MyEcclesia SAS ("MyEcclesia", "we", "us") makes its church management platform available at https://myecclesia.org (the "Service") to its users ("User", "you").
Accessing and using the Service constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must stop using the Service.
2 Definitions
- Service: the MyEcclesia SaaS platform and all its features (web application, mobile app, API)
- User: any individual or legal entity accessing the Service, whether as Administrator, Pastor, Leader or Member
- Administrator: the primary User who creates and manages the Church workspace on the platform
- Church: the faith community represented on the platform, whether an association, congregation or network
- Data: all information entered, imported or generated by the User in the Service
- Content: any text, image, file, message or media uploaded to the platform by the User
3 Access to the service
The Service is accessible via any modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with an internet connection. A mobile app is available for iOS and Android under the Growth and Multisite plans.
MyEcclesia commits to maintaining Service availability of 99.9% per calendar month (excluding planned maintenance notified at least 48 hours in advance).
Access to the Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or in cases of force majeure, without entitlement to any compensation.
4 Account creation
To access the Service, the User must create an account by providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information. The User is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.
The User agrees to:
- Not share their credentials with third parties
- Notify MyEcclesia immediately of any unauthorised access to their account
- Create only one account per Church (except under the Multisite plan)
- Be at least 18 years old or act with the consent of a legal representative
MyEcclesia reserves the right to refuse registration or suspend any account that does not comply with these conditions.
5 Pricing plans
MyEcclesia offers three subscription plans. Prices are shown exclusive of tax and billed in the local currency of the user's region.

5.1 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (with a discount) as chosen at the time of subscription. Billing occurs at the start of each period. No refund is given for a period already started, except as required by law.
5.2 Free trial
A 30-day free trial is available for the Growth and Multisite plans. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, the subscription automatically reverts to the free Essential plan unless a paid plan is explicitly chosen.
5.3 Price changes
MyEcclesia reserves the right to change its prices with 60 days' notice. Users with an active subscription will be informed by email and may cancel without charge before the new prices take effect.
6 User obligations
The User agrees to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. In particular, the User must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or immoral purposes
- Publish, transmit or share illegal, defamatory, obscene or third-party rights-infringing content
- Collect or store members' personal data without their prior consent
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorised areas of the Service
- Use bots, scripts or other automated tools to extract data from the Service without authorisation
- Resell, rent or sublicense access to the Service to third parties
- Import or send unsolicited communications (spam) via the Service's communication tools
The User is solely responsible for the data and content they import, enter or share via the Service and warrants having all necessary rights and authorisations.
6.1 Data controller responsibility
The Church User acts as data controller for the personal data of the members it manages via the platform. It is responsible for the lawfulness of data collection, informing data subjects and respecting their rights. MyEcclesia acts as data processor in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
7 MyEcclesia obligations
MyEcclesia commits to:
- Provide the Service under the conditions described in these Terms and maintain availability consistent with the commitments of the subscribed plan
- Ensure the security and integrity of User data (encryption, daily backups)
- Notify the User of any security incident likely to affect their data within 72 hours
- Provide customer support during business hours
- Not access User data except for technical support purposes, at the User's explicit request, or when legally required
- Inform the User of major Service changes with reasonable notice
8 Intellectual property
8.1 MyEcclesia's property
The MyEcclesia platform, including its source code, design, interfaces, logo, trademarks and all editorial content, is the exclusive property of MyEcclesia SAS and is protected by French and international intellectual property law.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation or total or partial exploitation of these elements without prior written authorisation from MyEcclesia is strictly prohibited.
8.2 Ownership of User data
The User retains ownership of all data they import or create on the platform. MyEcclesia claims no ownership rights over that data.
The User grants MyEcclesia a limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to host, process and display that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8.3 Data export
The User may export all their data at any time from the dashboard in CSV and PDF formats. Upon termination, a 30-day period is granted to export data before permanent deletion.
9 Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by the MyEcclesia Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, the User also accepts the Privacy Policy.
MyEcclesia commits to processing personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679).
10 Limitation of liability
MyEcclesia makes every effort to ensure continuity and quality of the Service. However, the Service is provided "as is" and MyEcclesia shall not be liable for:
- Temporary interruptions to the Service for maintenance or force majeure
- Data loss resulting from User fault or negligence
- Indirect damages, lost profits or loss of business resulting from use or inability to use the Service
- Unlawful content published by third parties via the Service
- Fraudulent acts by third parties despite security measures in place
- Use of the Service on unsecured devices or networks
In any event, MyEcclesia's liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the damaging event.
⚠ Important note: The User remains solely responsible for the lawfulness of data collected from their members, compliance with parental consent requirements for minors, and compliance of their communications with applicable law.
11 Termination
11.1 Termination by the User
The User may cancel their subscription at any time from their dashboard under "Settings > Subscription". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refund is given.
After cancellation, the User has 30 days to export their data. After that period, data is permanently deleted.
11.2 Termination by MyEcclesia
MyEcclesia reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service without notice or compensation in the event of:
- Serious or repeated breach of these Terms
- Non-payment of amounts due after a formal notice left unanswered for 15 days
- Use of the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights
- Provision of false information at registration
11.3 Cessation of the Service
In the event of permanent cessation of the Service, MyEcclesia commits to notifying Users with a minimum of 90 days' notice and to allowing them to export their data in a standard format.
12 Changes to these Terms
MyEcclesia reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, in particular to reflect legislative or regulatory changes or changes in how the Service operates.
Users will be informed of any material changes by email and via an in-app notification at least 30 days before the new provisions take effect.
Continued use of the Service after this period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If the User does not accept the new terms, they may cancel their subscription free of charge before they come into effect.

13 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution within 30 days before taking legal action. Users may contact:
